Orchard Park Farms - Resus Ready Certificate
The next organisation that we have worked with to enable a defibrillator to be located and also working closely with our colleagues from @dsairambulance is Orchard Park Farms!
We were first contacted by Neil, the owner of Orchard Park Farms in Hornblotton near Shepton Mallet after appearing on BBC Points West and Neil contacted us shortly after!
With the support of the local community within Hornblotton and the surrounding areas, we were able to raise funds for a defibrillator alongside Donate For Defib WsM Project also giving some funds towards this.
Our colleagues at Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance (DSAA) were able to undertake the CPR / Defibrillator Training for the community and also the staff at Orchard Park Farms which was a great success!
Alongside our ongoing work with them and also with the Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) it’s great to be able to present the official Resus Ready Certificate to the nominated location!
We look forward to working with Neil and the rest of the team in the near future, along with his generosity of donations of ongoing raffle prizes, including a special prize including ‘Winning Your Weight In Cider’ at their Apple Orchard!
Thank you for your ongoing support!

Weston-super-Mare Street Pastors - Resus Ready Certificate
Our ongoing work with the Weston-super-Mare Street Pastors is an incredible achievement and we are truly delighted to be sharing their Resus Ready Certificate with them after they have supported Donate For Defib WsM Project.
Back in 2024, Josh and Christina undertook an Observational Shift with the Street Pastors in Weston to gain a greater understanding of their community work and their making a true difference.
Josh’s grandma, Helen, is a former Street Pastor and they are all meeting on Sunday 19th January, so we are all looking forward to this!
We are so pleased to be working with our local Street Pastor Team within our local community, it’s great that they all know how to undertake CPR and use a defibrillator, and they are regularly given an updated list of the latest defibrillator installations, so they are all aware within our community!
Thank you for all your continued efforts and support!
