Incredible timing — the defibrillator at Royal Sands Toilet Block was installed only yesterday, and at 7:00pm this evening, it was called upon by a member of the public in a real emergency.
We were alerted by South Western Ambulance Service, and we’re pleased to confirm the defibrillator is now back on The Circuit and rescue-ready once again. 💛
A full Defib Legacy Launch will be shared in the coming days — but we couldn’t wait to let you know just how vital these installations are.
That’s our 4th defib call-out this week alone!

In the early hours of this morning, the defibrillator at Uphill Boathouse was called into action — and it helped save a life. 🙏❤
Amazingly, this was one of THREE defibs used in our community within just 24 hours. This highlights how truly vital these life-saving devices are.
The Uphill Boathouse defib has now been checked, reset, and is once again Rescue-Ready for the next emergency. ⚡🫀

Thanks to the quick action of South Western Ambulance Service, The Circuit Team, and the Donate For Defib Weston-super-Mare Project, the defibrillator has already been fully checked, reset, and is now rescue-ready once again – all within 90 minutes! 💚⚡
This rapid turnaround means the defibrillator is ready for the next emergency, continuing to protect our community when it’s needed most.

Please note: There is urgent ongoing maintenance to the external cabinet. This means the defibrillator is temporarily restricted and is currently located inside the pub. It will only be available during pub opening hours until the cabinet is repaired. A notice has been placed on the cabinet to advise.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, the community-access defibrillator at The Big Worle Hub was used in an emergency.
Thanks to the swift actions of local people, the patient received immediate help before further medical care arrived. 💚
✅ The defibrillator has now been fully checked, new pads fitted, and a fresh security tag applied.
✅ It is Rescue Ready and back on The Circuit as Emergency Ready.

At around 17:30 this evening, the Revo Defibrillator on Weston-super-Mare Seafront was called upon for the 38th time since installation.
Although the defibrillator was not used during this incident, it was requested for an emergency. Within just an hour, our team ensured it was checked, registered, and placed back on The Circuit – now fully Rescue Ready once again. 💚⚡
This life-saving piece of equipment is proudly funded by our friends at Weston-super-Mare Rotary, and we extend our thanks to Alex Michael for hosting the device outside Revo.

We’re pleased to confirm the defibrillator is now back on the circuit, fully checked, and registered as Rescue Ready – prepared for the next emergency. 💚⚡

🫀 One of our Defib Legacy Programme defibrillators – placed in memory of Roy Chell – was successfully activated in a medical emergency, contributing to another life saved.
The defibrillator has now been checked and is rescue ready once again, ready to serve the community if ever needed.
This lifesaving device was made possible through your support and Roy’s legacy — ensuring access to vital equipment when every second counts. 💛
🚑 We were alerted by South Western Ambulance Service, and thanks to this life-saving device being available, it has played a vital role in the emergency response.

🚨 DEFIBRILLATOR ACTIVATIONS – 3 TIMES IN 5 DAYS! 🚨
It hasn’t even been five days, and already THREE of our Defibrillators have been called into action by South Western Ambulance Service! 💚⚡
📍 Monday Evening – The Defibrillator outside Specsavers on the High Street (one of our Legacy Defibrillators, part of our Defibrillator Legacy Programme) was urgently called upon.
📍 Yesterday – Another activation at the Water Park in Weston-super-Mare, funded by Weston-super-Mare Town Council, showing just how vital these locations are.
📍 Early Hours This Morning – We received a third activation notification… back to Specsavers again! That’s twice in less than a week for this lifesaving site!
These activations are a stark reminder of just how critical these devices are to our community. Your support makes this possible – from funding to awareness, together we are making Weston-super-Mare safer.
We’re continuing to expand to more locations – because when seconds matter, access matters. 🙌
