Defibrillator Legacy {In Memory Of Someone}
The Donate for Defib WsM Project is coming up to its first anniversary and has succeeded installing additional publicly accessible defibrillators in Weston super Mare due to the support and fundraising of the community.
The team have recently funded a publicly accessible defibrillator to be installed at The Uphill Boatyard Cafe in Memory of June Bell our Project Leads Nan who sadly passed away in July 2024.
A memorial plaque which has been kindly made and donated by The Print Hive will be installed by the defibrillator as a lasting Legacy to June.

💛 The Defib Legacy Programme
Honouring Lives. Saving Futures:
The Defib Legacy Programme is a heartfelt tribute to those who have left a lasting mark on our community—whether through their life-saving actions, generous support, or the memory of loved ones. Each name honoured through this initiative is proudly represented by a golden star, a symbol of their ongoing impact in making Weston-super-Mare a safer place for everyone.
This programme is more than just recognition. It’s a growing legacy of publicly accessible defibrillators placed across our town—each one made possible by the dedication and generosity of families, friends, and local heroes who care deeply about saving lives. Families listed below have fully-funded a publicly accessible defibrillator in memory of a loved one.
What the Programme Represents:
💫 Remembrance: Stars can be dedicated in memory of a loved one who believed in community, compassion, and care.
🚑 Recognition: Celebrate those who have actively contributed to our mission—volunteers, fundraisers, or life-savers.
❤️ Inspiration: Each star serves as a beacon of hope, showing that ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference.
Your Legacy, Your Impact:
Every name in the Defib Legacy Programme is linked to the funding, installation, or maintenance of a community defibrillator. These devices are available 24/7—offering anyone, anywhere, the power to help save a life when seconds matter most.
We invite you to be part of this growing constellation of heroes. Whether you’re honouring someone special or supporting a new defibrillator location and the contributing funds, your involvement leaves a lasting legacy for generations to come.
